LEGENDS OF THE HIDDEN TEMPLE SEASON 1 MOVIE
A Nickelodeon original movie based on the original game show will soon hit the airwaves, and Kirk Fogg will appear as the tour guide of a reenactment park built on top of an ancient temple. Legends of the Hidden Temple Season 1 aired from Septemto January 23, 1994. A competition series, the Legends of the Hidden Temple TV show is an adult version of the game show that ran on Nickelodeon 1993-95. The time has never been better for Legends of the Hidden Temple to possibly make a comeback. Who can say if the current generation can stand such scares? (That said, I don't know if Legends of Tomorrow could come back to television without some changes or a crossover episode.) The challenges were mostly harmless, but those temple guards were the stuff of nightmares for youngsters in the 90s. Kirk Fogg's pitch to EW of a Legends of the Hidden Temple revival and reunion sounds pretty good. So I'd be a big fan of it coming back, but like I said, I don't make those decisions.Ĭonsidering how few kids actually completed the Temple course without being nabbed by the temple guards, there are plenty of former contestants out there who might want a chance at redemption. Each episode revolves around a myth or a story based on fact. The first thing they need to do is have a reunion, have all the kids from that generation who didn't make it through thef temple and have them give it another shot. Hosted by Kirk Fogg, this fantasy action game show takes kids on adventures that test their intelligence, physical prowess and determination as they search for legendary artifacts. You could almost combine the two maybe, even do it as a family if you wanted to. I think it would grab a lot of fans from that generation and new kids would be totally latched onto it, too. Yes, the same CD-i that is home to such titles as The Legend Of Zelda C Di Games and Hotel Mario. Among the prizes in the Season 3 Temple rotation was a Philips CD-i. I could never speak for Nickelodeon because I'm not up at the top making those decisions, but based on all the stuff I've seen on the feeds and comments on Facebook or Instagram, it seems like it begs for the show to come back. One of the Season 2 prizes for getting inside the Temple was a Watara Supervision, widely considered to be the worst handheld video game system of all time.
